Sure the Forester may be VERY fast from 0-60. It probably handles really nicely as well. No one beats their 4wd/traction control setup (at least not on such inexpensive cars.) My family used to own a Forester, until my younger brother was broadsided by a pickup at 40mph. The Forester was TOTALLED.. It crumpled just like it should have. There were only two wheels left on it ,and no hope for repair. The same brother plowed my c900 into the woods at about 60mph a few years back. The front pillar was pushed in 2 inches from the side by a lateral collision with a 60ft tree. Moral of the story, he walked away from both similarly destructive accidents ,but while the Forester sit in a scrap pile, I still drive my Saab. It's not always about performance.
