This is utter and complete nonsense.
Having mechanical Dawes device after solenoid valve is totally useless, a waste of money. Solenoid-valve is completly closed until max boost is attained so Dawes device won't do anything, it will just hang in there w/o any pressure until solenoid opens, maybe even produce some ill effects if you are unlucky.
Esa: There is nothing wrong with your car, it's your motor's characeristic to have so called boost-treshhold at approx 2200 RPM, which is actually really good considering it's full-pressure turbo and not LTT one.
You could install smaller turbo which would lower boost-treshold, but it also means you would loose top-end. That's the way it works, live with it.
Dean, do some reading about how boost is regulated in T7, would you? Do you really believe that 40$ "shadetree" device would solve problem that SAAB engineers tried to solve for 20 years? Please explain why they didn't included it right out of factory, it would be really great if you could strech boost-range by simple Reed-valve...i guess they should ask "Dawe", right?
