The camera makes them look brighter than they look to the eye. You can turn them totally off or have them really bright in the daytime. I have them on low at night and really like them. The two OEM bulbs light up the tach and trip numbers. I don't think they look too ricey with the white background. It is so great to have lit alive guages that don't have too dim lighting and that don't go out when the bulb makes bad contact because of warping of the bulb holders.

BTW, I havn't had any problems since I took a circuit board pen and covered the bulb contacts with it but I'm so glad I got the Indiglos because they are far, far superior to the dim OEM lighting.

I think for $50.00 it's a no-brainer to go Indiglo.
