I have the new G9 3inch on my 85 without a cat and Id say that its not bad at idle or light load, under boost though is a different story. With the pedal down it will wake the dead, I love it but I'm thinking of ditching the muffler to see how much louder it can get. As is it turns heads when cruising around town people automatically know that the car is nuts by the sound and the stance.
