Question on Improving Viggen Throttle Response

Hello,
Is there a straightforward way to improve the throttle response on my 99 Viggen? I am not sure that lightening the flywheel is a solution because of the T7 management system. If I rev the engine to 4k, it takes 10 seconds (or longer if the heat is on) for the engine to drop back down to idle - which for all practical purposes is purely the most annoying attribute of the Viggen.
I used to race old Porsche 911's and we would turn down the outer flange on the flywheel and drastically improve the throttle response.
Thanks for your reply.
