your stock FPR weather it be 2.5 or 3.0bar I believe has a rate of rise of 1.2:1 so for every pound of boost you get 1.2 LBS more fuel pressure
with a RRFPR it just has a higher ratio of I believe 1.7:1 so now for every pound of boost you have 1.7 lbs more fuel pressure for every 8 lbs of fuel pressure you get about 2 lb hr more fuel from each injector but you dont want to crank the FP way the hell up there because than the pump wont be able to flow enough to suport the amount of HP you are pushing & you will lean out
running more FP alone can be of help to a certain point but eventualy you will probably want more power which will mean bigger injectors at that point you can lower your fuel pressure with the RRFPR to get closed loop operation part throttle & idle & still have more fuel under boost
keep in mind that big injectors & a RRFPR is basicaly a bandaid mod which is only good to a certain point mabey 215WHP which isent shabby but if you watched your air fuel ratios they would certainly get real rich erly & lean out at the end this un even AF ratio after a while takes its toll on the rings & valves
Im definatly not saying dont use them definatly doo
just dont push that fuel setup too close to its limit
after that you can do what brad does & use add on fuel management & injectors or do what I do & use ECU remapping & large injectors which ever suits you just keep in mind the goal is good & level air fuel ratios you may even blow a few bucks on a few dyno pulls to take measurements :-)this wil insure relyable performance for years to come
