The poly bushings and the spherical bearings are not easy DIY. I had a good indy do mine. Any good indy with a bearing press should be able to do it. Time depends on how hard`the old bushings are to remove. Sway bar and steering brace are DIY and shouldn't take a good indy more than 1 hour total.
I bought my brace from Nick at Genuinesaab.com before MPPerformance.com was up and running. Their steering brace kit is quite a bit less $$ and has gotten good feedback. Both are much less than Abbott. I would get the sway bar from Nick. The only Abbott parts I bought were the spherical bushings. You can get poly bushings that do almost as well for much less $$. I would definately recommend replacing all bushings (fore and aft) at the same time. Brad at KCSAAB.com or Nick is where I would go for these.
I had my own 6 point subframe built, but I have a convertible. I don't know how necessary it is with a hard top, but it killed the infamous cowl shake on my rag top.
I also did the Eibach Pro System which is a great enhancement. The VRK stuff and poly bushings cure the design defects in the 9-3's. Hope this helps.
