I have ruined a number of good cars in the past, with this project my goal has been to learn from history so as not to repeat it.The areas of some compromise are#1 the clutch, the 6 puck clutch takes a little bit of getting use to#2 the 3in exaust is a little louder than stock/not boy racer loud #3 ride height is a bit lower than stock however 18" wheels brought most of this back #4:Gas milage is now 25 to 28 mpg down from 30+-#5 using racing gas is a bit of a pain,I keep a drum in my shop so as to keep my safety margin in place.Other than these I can't think of areas that would be an issue.I would like to think most of these changes are what should have been done from the factory as the car now performs on par with the cars in its target groupe, the M3's and such. This car exemplifys what first attracted me to Saab's in the first place,a unique kind of look and strong performance. My wife would take issue with some of this, but every one has a right to an opinion.,I am using an Abbott IC.My track car is a vintage 2ltr Trans-AM race race car so I don't need two,I have kept this truth in mind while putting this project together -the best street car is a poor race car-and the converse is also true-ed
