the hell not? I'm looking through websites that sell bar and plate cores and they are very cheap in my opinion.(by comparison) Some end tanks and tabs to mount it in the stock location and walla! It doesn't have to be polished or look spectacular by any means, because it will be totally hidden after installation. Why can't this be done for $400-$500? You would make profit in volume, since everyone with a 9000 has had some tuning done to it. Think about this, I know a ton of 9000 guys that are running with 306hp SQR software now. All of those SQR 9000's really need IC's, but ALL of them are overpriced. Then there are all of the other T-5 tuned 9000's to consider as well. We need a good 9000 IC option! I know that the KJ and the new Maptun IC are very nice for $750-800, but after they are shipped and the exchange hits them, you are talking about a grand for an IC, for a car that you can buy for $3-4k on the classifieds!

The 9000 is by far the cheapest Saab to buy and tune with the best results. That places it right in the crosshairs of the biggest tuning demographic with the most disposable income, young crazy guys under 30! Anyone up for this challenge???? I'll place the first order. :o)
