I thought the transition from gear primaires to chain primaries was in '75? Please confirm whether I'm right or have head in clouds. :) I know my '74 99's original tranny has gear primaries, but then my only other experience with 99s is with a bunch of '78 parts cars.

BTW, thanks for the heads up on the different length clutch master clevis / forks. The c900 piece was 10mm longer than the 99. I swapped on in last week and the rally car is good to go again. Next will be finishing off wiring on the two big Bosch Rallye 225 lights, a bit of a tweak on the throttle pedal, and mount the Silverstone rally tires I got last week. If I'm ambitious, I may also swap the inner drivers from side to side before the next event...so many car projects, so little time...
