Well, you can call the stage 4-306 hp Aero special whatever you want, but the good thing for you is that it is indeed SQR. :o)
I have known Frank and Bo Engstrom on a personal level for quite a few years and I have known Boe and Paul Kalinoski since Reagan was president, > the point is that they will all tell you the same thing... you WILL eventually need a clutch/Pressure plate with stage 4 and above. My guess is if it didn't slip, it wasn't adapted fully.
You mentioned that you will eventually re-map to stage 5, If you are planning on doing a stage 5 upgrade(18T, Volvo Green injectors, Intercooler,etc..) then DON'T buy the stage 4 from that guy. Save your money, as the stage 5 software is custom only and will have to be re-programmed by Frank. You might as well have Frank tune your stock ECU to stage 5 at the SOC, you can use the money you save and the time to build up your hardware. The Sachs PP will take 5-6 weeks lead time to build, but Dave at Group 9 has a clone that they have built and JJ from this board is using with success. Good luck, and enjoy the SQR power with whatever stage you choose.:o)
