The problem with a straight MBC install is that the turbo boost will have an initial spike and then settle in. The stock computer will allow this spike to hit 15 psi but no more. When the boost settles in to what the MBC is actually set at, it will be muchlower than the spike, hence 10 to 11 psi. It think one solution for this is the MBC+A. Do a search of this board on it. Otherwise, the solution I had was to deal with it while I saved money to get a remapped ECU, which in my case turned out to be a custom programmed unit at Hirsch. This in the end is probably a better way to more hp as the fueling and timing can also be changed to gain more hp over just raising the boost.
