Why Abbot Turbo???

I bought a 99 9-5 2.3 lpt with a blown engine. I was thinking about putting a new turbo in it as well, but am now thinking that the LPT might be better for me. I do not want to do a bunch of expensive mods. I will only do a stage 1 ecu. 175HP is just not enough but 200+ is just fine for me.
My question is, the Garret turbo is supposed to be lighter and spool up faster. I Like this idea (my 95 NG900 Converto has plenty of power, but only after 2500 rpms's and only 185 HP)
So, if I can get Aero power, just by a stage 1 ecu remap and keep the short spool up time without further mods, why would I ever want an Abbot turbo?
I dont mean to be condecending, I am still considereing the bigger turbo, I just would like to hear from people who know more about it than me.
