Lots of Sonetts around, you just have to scare them up, outta their garages! Posting here is certainly a start. You might also want to investigate the VSAAB (Vintage Saab) groups.

I'll echo the sentiment to "try one on" before buying. I don't know what it is, but I can't seem to fit comfortably in any off-the-shelf Sonett, and I'd wanted one for a long time, until I discovered that! In a II or V4, my knees get in the way of my steering the car, and in a III, the shifter ends up under my knee in first & second gears!

Hopefully, you'll have a better fit than I do, and be able to keep one for a long time.

Should be more than a few at SOC next month, er, in three weeks!
