it's a Sonett III with the 4 relays. I do have the wiring diagram from Ashcraft's book. 'Current'ly (sorry for the pun!) trying to figure out if the low amperage wiring from the cockpit switches to the relays is big enough to carry current to modern LEDs. Not really an electron ninja, so a bit out of my league!

The whole point of relays is to keep heavy wiring and amperage out of the cockpit, but of course they add complexity and failure modes. So if one could replace original incandescent lights with LEDs of low enough draw, you could pick up the wiring right at the relays and eliminate the relays altogether no?
