I notice your engine has breathers from both valve covers AND a PVC valve in the manifold. On our Weber swap, we also drilled and tapped a hole in the manifold for a PVC valve.

What's the right strategy for crankcase ventilation? Are the breather tubes from the valve covers adequate for the task if they just get routed to the air cleaner? Just wondering if deleting the PCV valve simplifies things/avoids a lean cylinder etc. Or does the oily exhaust from the valve covers gunk up the air filter and so going straight from valve cover to intake makes the air filter last longer?
