There's a few very old posts on here about replacement radiators and electric fans that were adapted out of other vehicles.

I was wondering if anyone had more recent advice on a plug-and-play option. Electric fan kits are much more common now (although I haven't found one that specs a 1973 SAAB Sonett III). Is there an electric fan kit that works particularly well (easy install, cooling improvement) and one of the many aluminum radiators that anyone's used and can recommend? Ebay has a zillion of them:

I'd prefer to just recore, but the estimate here is $1,000.
