Thanks--it seemed that way from the way most retrofits were going. Since what started this conversation was a question about the clearance under the hood--are the Solex and Webers the same height? I heard the 40 DCNF was pretty compact. In any case, where would I be able to get height data on the Weber carbs? I tried Google, but came up with exploded views with no dimensions.
