I plan on moving to Italy in 18 months, and taking my 1967 Sonett V4 with me. I was talking to friend who has spent considerable time in Europe, and he said "You do know that they won't let you drive it there, and that insurance for a 40 year old car will be killing, don't you?". He seemed to think that the prohibition on older cars was EU wide.

Anybody know anything about this. I'm sure that they never imported them. Do they have a prohibition on older cars without poluttion control? What about insurance? Does anyone know what's up
