Saabers,
I wish to drive my Saab Sonett, yet it is an ongoing saga with the hydraulics! In cave man's langauge...I want good clutch! Here is the story..
I have a rebuilt slave cylinder...new hose. I
This morning...dead clutch..lift the carpet...dab a finger around the cluthch master...yes! Saabnuts...wet finger. I want to drive my Saab!
My newly welded floor with a coat of rust! already...
Now, how do I do this?
1. Ought I replace the seals inside the car? How well does that method work?
and hopefully the bore is nice and smooth! to be successful.
2. Remove the clutch master cylinder and express the the thing to White Post restoration?
3. Continue to be a cheap man..and take out and rebuild myself?
I like number three( why not save a few dollars, and dedicate the saved money to a rebuilt radiator for the humpback sister..
Please help..
What is the best way to remove this buried clutch master? (It will be a one man operation)
May someone offer the 'correct rebuilt kit" part number?
This clutch master looks very similar to my 1966 clutch master on the 96.
I know it is not the same kit as my 1971 V4.
Thanks in advance...
