...maybe just a blow torch or a heat gun followed by dry ice or liquid CO2 will be enough. That will contract the metal, and might make it look really good. Just make sure that no fuel lines are hiding unedrneath.
Blow-torch method necessitates that you strip and repaint the underside and the top of the floor. Heat gun method is safer as long as you don't burn off the paint.
