This is a gift for my pop. I got my self in deep this time.
I'm in the final stretch. ...can I do all this in 4 days!?
Window glass. Original gasket is too far gone. I found this resource:
http://www.vsaab.com/html/Articles/Windshield.htm
"Now you have to decide how brave and talented you are. You have three choices: 1) Reuse the elbows and make a gasket like the original. 2) Forget about the elbows and force the new gasket around the bottom corners of the window opening. 3) Cut the gasket in two pieces, making 45 degree angle cuts in the corners to create an angled joint. If you don’t reuse the elbows or make angled joints in the corners, you increase the risk of water leakage."
Whats the best option?
Also on my current list of issues:
Rear light in and working. Directionals arn't working. Do the fronts need to be wired adn working to close the loop?
I have no dash lights. Could this be the reostat that people here where complaining about?
Does anyone have a labeled photo or diagram of what switch does what and goes where?
Thanks for your help! I'll keep up with my progress if people are interested...
