I am assuming you are refering to a late model Saab V6, and not the older FoMoCo V6 from 30 years ago. If you are refering to the older FoMoCo engine, #1, #4, and #5 still apply.
1) The engine is too heavy and too large. It will sit too far forward in the engine bay, requiring moving the rad. It will also place too much weight over the front of the front wheels, making the car difficult in corners and prone to over-steer.
2) It is too wide an engine, so it will require cutting to make room
3) You will need to create a custom bell housing to mate the 2.8 V6 to the tranny
4) The engine is too powerful for a Sonett tranny. That tranny was initally designed for use with a 2 stroke 2 cylinder low hp low torque high RPM 50hp engine. The 2.8 will overwhelm it and the tranny will fail.
5) A better choice might be a shaft and wankel rotary engine as would be found in an RX-7. It is small, light, cheap, easily found, and would probably enhance the front-rear weight ratio.
6) There are FoMoCo 6 cylinder engines that will mate up with the tranny. The weight and length characteristics are still a serious issue, and you would only gain 30 or so HP.
7) The Saab V6 engine is prone to serious issues such as the rubber timing belts breaking and the valves being crushed by the pistons. Those belts require almost yearly replacement.
