How to use old Clarion stereo with '95 9000CS [saabnet.com]
Posted by Satoru - http://saabnet.com/tsn/forms/e.php3?em=18 (more from Satoru - http://saabnet.com/tsn/forms/e.php3?em=18) on Wed, 23 Feb 2005 16:51:05

Hi all,

The car stereo in my '95 9000CS died (I'm sure it's the head unit) so I went
on Ebay on bought a Clarion stereo and equalizer that apparently was pulled
from a late 80s or early 90s 900. The part number is 02 73 672. Now, you may
have guessed, but the wiring for this thing is completely different, where the
stereo in the 9000CS has like 4 cables coming in to it (The main power cables;
the speaker cables; the FM/AM antenna; and a mystery cable), this Clarion only
has one socket with like 18 pins:

So, the question is, what would be the easiest and/or the cheapest way to
connect this Clarion to the 9000CS?

Thanks.
