This is your call.  
If you were me, and enjoyed the car as much as I enjoyed my 86 900s, I'd
be keeping it.
Cars are not an investment, in that you make money on them, they are a
loss!
Any car will cost money to repair, this way you know the background of
the car. Learn to fix the things yourself. It's not rocket science.
Simple maintenance things are easy, bigger projects, cv boots, brakes,
wheel bearings, timing chain take more time and planning. I maintained
my own SAAB for ten years, found a local guy who could help with body
work, a friend (who races) helped with engine and transmission removal
twice!
