Oil Colour
Posted by Tony & Barb Thompson (more from Tony & Barb Thompson) on Sun, 18 Nov 2001 03:56:52
We have found a 1999 9-5 with 52,000 km on it. The car is immaculate, but I checked the oil and it's black. Is this normal for these engines (4 cyl. 175hp) or is it a sign of neglect? My truck and the Integra with 180,000 km on it never colour their oil, but they are not turbo engines. Does that make a difference? TIA, Tony Oakville, Ont. Canada
