I had good luck with Car Quest front pads on my 2000 9-5. Dust in the front
is the same as the rear now. Car still stops.

The OEM rotors are almost at the service limit when new. You may have to
replace them. Car Quest had the rotors too. Pads and Rotors $188. I am very
happy. They are wearing well after 20k miles.
