Hello,

This is my first post. I have a 2003 9-3 Linear. The windshield wipers have
been trouble since day 1. Since August 2003, I've gone through 3 pairs of
blades and arms -- I'm on my 4th pair. Basically, they chatter, and with 2 of
the 4 pairs, the rubber separated from the metal part of the blade. I can
only use them on intermittent settings. If I put them even on the regular
setting, they screech and chatter intollerably. I have used both Saab and
no-name brands, and the pair that lasted the longest was not a Saab set. I
have brought this to my dealer's attention, but they contend that there's
nothing wrong with the wipers.

The car is going in for its first scheduled maintenance next week. Any
suggestions about how to represent this problem to the technician? Is there
something I can do to mitigate the problem, myself? It seems like it's not
serious, but when it's raining heavily outside, it's pretty dangerous.
