brake rotors
Posted by spratel (more from spratel) on Fri, 28 Jan 2000 14:19:12
I made the mistake of ordering new front rotors from JW Whitney for my 82
Turbo. The rotors look fine except one edge seems to be chipped. It is not
on the c
the same area is chipped on both rotors, and the chipped area is the same
size.

I seriously doubt that these are intentional, but being totally new to the
car, and not even having looked at the rotors on the car, I need to ask if
this is no
large enough to upset the balance, but I've replaced many brake rotors over
the years, and have never seen this, never mind having two chipped exactly
the same way. I'm thinking that maybe these defects is why JCW has them??

TIA

Steve
