Summertime in Phoenix
Posted by Dan Aldrich (more from Dan Aldrich) on Sat, 19 Jun 1999 22:49:18
Well, it's finally over 100 here in Phoenix. Time for my '92 900 to act up again.
Car overheats, even on the highway. Temp gage runs right up to the 1:00 position. Both fans run OK. Last August, I had the water pump, thermostat replaced and filled it with 50:50 mix of Mercedes anti-freeze. Naturally right after all that work, the temps here dropped back down so I wasn't sure if my problems were fixed.
The only thing not replaced now is the radiator itself. Any thoughts if a power flush will help, or do I need to take more drastic measures?
Thanks to all, -d
