Well, today starts week 3 that my 2003 9-3 with 12k miles has been at the dealer awaiting parts. Apparently they are still on backorder. Also, I receieved a call from Saab corporate office (Rosslyn) saying that she referred my case to the legal deparment and that they were declining to act. I asked her if she realized that my car still was not fixed and I at least expected them to wait until it was fixed. She refused. I asked her for a phone number for her supervisor, she refused and said there was no one left to talk to. I then asked for her to send me a letter saying that they were refusing to act on my claim. Again, she refused. Then I asked her for the phone number to the Presidents office....surprise she refused. I then asked her what I needed to do to initiate arbitration. She told me to call a lawyer. I thought the point of arbitration was to leave the lawyers out of the process? Well, to recap...Saab will do nothing about my new car, still under warranty which has been to the dealer at least 12-14 times since purchase. It has had to be towed 2x. I have lost any faith that Saab will ever do the right thing. Even my mechanic is amazed that they did not act.
