I could have written your posting myself! Same car, same problem. 93SS Arc purchased Nov 03- I've been to the dealer 6 times already! 1st the rear suspension was making a creaking noise and two parts needed to be replaced. I was without my car for a week! Then the crazy fog horn noise started - they replaced (for what reason I don't know) the shock absorber) and of course that did not resolve the problem. Then, they replaced the brake pads- still no help. Finally the Saab regional rep indicated ther ewere "special" brake pads because the factry was aware of this problem and I have them put on Wednesday May 12.. Guess what?? Still a massive amount of noise- it seems to be coming from the front as well! I've been talking to Saab Assistance Center 1-800-955-9007 (Bette is the rep. Up until this week they have been responsive. I've placed two calls since picking up my car Wednesday and I haven't received a call back.

Please let me know where you are on this issue.... Has your lawyer contacted Saab? I've been asking them to buy back the car, I've threatened taking to my state's lemon law arbitrator... I really don't know how to get out of this car. I've already lost a to nof money between time off from work, gas to and from the dealer, and of course, the depreciation of the vehicle as every day goes by...
