sounds very encouraging -- I'll check this out asap. Just curious, but how many attempts did it take YOUR dealer to discover this solution?! Mine had 5 tries and still no sucess. What's more, they don't return my calls any more so I guess they've given up on me and my car. Is this typical of Saab dealerships? I'd expected a little better than this, that's for sure.

Anyway I'm relieved to know I'm not the only one with the clunking problem, though I'm sorry to hear you guys also experienced this annoyance. We might all be thanking you shortly, Coolknight. Your advice on this board is frequently very sound. How come you're so well informed? Do you have an ace dealer, or are you a keen tecchie yourself?
