...you will definitely want the V-6. The turbo lag from a standing start in the LPT is annoying (and potentially dangerous) in my opinion. Once rolling, the difference in power is not as great.
The difference in lease factors probably has to do with the marketability of the two models - the 2.3LPT is probably a harder sell.
All of this cr@p about the 4 being a "Saab tradition" is hokey. If you have followed Saab through the years you will have found that they _frequently_ sourced engines from the outside. The V-4 in the 96, for example.Even the current four started its life as a Triumph engine that they built for Saab for the original 99. Buying a Saab with an outsourced engine is just as much a Saab tradition as any.
