But simply stating it's a twin turbo thus less lag is BS. It's the size of the turbo's that matters!!! I beleive the old RX7, Toyota Supra & possibly the 300 zx all had twin turbo's but they were sequential units. Meaning 1 turbo was designed for low RPM's & the other for higher RPM's. BUT, at least with the supra, all the tuners who want serious power add 1 single big ass turbo (T-62 or bigger) & can gett 500 HP+++.
250 HP from a v6 is no big deal at all when you consider a aero has the same HP from 2 cylinders less as well as a turbo less! Also look at the S2000 which has 240 hp from a 2.0 liter 4 banger (yea, I know no troque though :o).
But, adding better turbo's to the S4 motor you can make serious power :o) A friend has a new s4 with 320-360 HP & is looking into adding two T4 turbo's to the car so 400-500 HP will be the result! & YES there will be turbo lag but to me, that's not a bad thing, you just have to pay more attention to driving :o)
