Are these incentives doing the brand any good? I see this as a two-sided coin.....
1/ The 'up side' would be to get more people into Saab cars so they realise how bloody marvelous they are to drive/own and are repeat customers.
2/ The 'down side' would be that potential consumers may begin to think
that Saab cars are way overpriced in the first instance (which is NOT true but mud sticks) and GM is marking them down to get rid of them which has obvious affects on residual values.
Any other views on this?
