Asian makes and competitive to other European makes.
My common comparison with the 9-5 is the Audi A-6. Without any Saab incentive, feature for feature, the A-6 wins hands down, not to mention the Quattro thing. Some here think A-6 is ugly and I liken the A-6 to be the Camry of near luxury class. Where I live, A-6 are as common as Camrys.
What I don't understand is that if there is a $4,000 incentive why didn't Saab advertise more ? Maybe dealers don't have enough inventory to make any big volume sale, of the Saab dealers around here, they just begin to get a couple of Linear and Arc. Aeros won't be here until next Feb. I thought the salesman was low balling me in telling me the $4,000 incentive until he gave me a price. His sales manager was right behind him so I guess it had to be real.
I can only suggest anyone who is looking for a new 9-5 to forget the 2001 model and get the 2002 instead. It's just a better car.
