adding the petrol powered heater to 9-5 ARC

I've gotten it into my head that the thing I really need to dramatically improve my life is the "petrol powered" heater for my 2002 9-5 Arc.
In comparison to the electrical heater, this one apparently heats the engine and the passenger compartment off its own little heating unit that runs off gasoline.
The fine people at eeuroparts noted that the Saab parts manuals specifically say it's only for the Euro spec vehicles. Dunno why. Wish I did. They did give me the part numbers required, but it's unknown if this is for a 4 cylinder or a V6:
supplementary kit heater 400106621
basic kit 400130217
fuel connection wiring harness 400126363
cable kit 400130225
I called Espar (who is the North American distributor of Eberspaecher, the company that apparently makes the gas heaters.) They said they have a kit they can order for the 9-5 V-6, kit number CA182025. The guy added that it would require dropping the fuel tank in order to install the extra fuel line.
I'm waiting for a call back from my local distributor to see the cost of this kit.
