i'm really curious to where you live, is the heater really not doing it?
I've had the gas heaters in Vw vans before and it would really see over kill!
I know BMW has offered this option to euro cars to but it's usually on a 7 or 8 series and it fires up at a given time so you car is warm before you arrive. they often work with the fan to come on to.
US simply will not allow anything so dangerous (by our standards).
So you you live in the Northwest Territories?
