On '01 LPT at least. But what they don't do is give you any indication when they're on. I also don't know what the back buttons looks like -- probably haven't been back there since the day I bought the car. I think my old BMW had it where the button only lit when the heat was actually on. I also think the BMW had to have someone sitting in the passenger seat for the heat to take affect. I have this (probably silly) paranoia that I'll drive around for extended periods of time with the passenger or back seat's heat on (and no one in the seat) and either burn the thing out -- or cause the leather to crack.
