Did you keep the Pirelli's and the original rims? If you are going to keep swapping snow tires on and off the car, I believe that you are better off buying a set of rims for your snow tires (they are not special, they are just dedicated to the snows). Swapping tires onto rims costs between $40 and $80 per time ($80 to $160 per season)...thus rims pay for themselves over time and also allow you to do the swap in your own garage if you desire.
If the dealer took the Pirelli's and the original rims...you got rooked...otherwise you are probably just fine.
