I made the jump! '03 9-5 Aero ... now what?

I sealed the deal. For $9500 + my '99 9-3SE w/ 132k miles I get an '03 9-5 Aero w/ 50k miles. He'll also throw in roof racks. After looking at Edmunds and whatnot, it seemed like an ok deal. Not great. But after looking at how much I've spent on my car this year, I decided I didn't want risk spending more.
So here's what I'll be doing right off the bat, would love to know anything else I should do. Having been a 9-3 owner for about 10 years I'm new to the 9-5 side of Saab.
1. K&N air filter: which one? For 9-3s this was somewhat sensitive wrt. part #. Or should I get a different a/m filter?
2. Platinum plugs, which do y'all recommend? Again, for 9-3s there were about 3 different ones depending on heat, temp, etc... I do 90% highway driving.
3. Synthetic oil + mobil 1 filter. The 9-3 folks suggest 0w40. Same for 9-5s?
4. The car has Pirelli P zero rosso tires. Maybe 10k left on front. Gonna rotate. How are these in the snow? I had Dunlops on my 9-3 which were great. Used to use those scandinavian tires (forget the name) which were insane in the snow. Any consensus / wisdom for 17" all seasons that are a good combo for wet / dry? Snow is on the way here in the north and central east.
Thanks very much. I'm psyched about the "upgrade." Will miss my hatch, but whatcha gonna do.
