Pzero Rossos are deadly in the snow. Get something else to use (if you haven't already).
Your 9-5 runs its oil about 20 degrees hotter than your '99 9-3 did. Mobil 1 0W-40 is OK, but someone's 5W-40 or 10W-40 synthetic is a better choice, IMO. Also, be sure the PCV update has been done. Transmission oil should be changed. For automatics, Toyota has the best price. For standard shift, there's not much choice, I've not seen the factory oil anywhere except from GM. (Chevy Cobalt SS, HHR SS, and Saturn Ion RedLine cars use the Saab manual transmission and should have the oil, as well as Saab dealers.)
Your '03 already came with the later software and ignition cassette design.
The factory plugs are the ones to use if you want platinums, or some people prefer regular plugs. I thought the factory (-6) plugs looked like they were running a little hot when I changed them last summer, but my mechanic said they looked "perfect" to him.
