SAAB 95 IS A CLASSIC Posted by saabsince 93b [Email] (#972) [Profile/Gallery] (more from saabsince 93b) on Wed, 19 Nov 2014 10:06:46 In Reply to: Re: It has been a good ride, JTRI [Profile/Gallery] , Mon, 17 Nov 2014 18:34:26 Members do not see ads below this line. - Help Keep This Site Online - Signup |
This discussion is turning my stomach.
The Saab 95 is a classic in its own time. An Aero is really a classic. Where can you get all that wonderful driving and engineering in a package at the price we are paying now?
And parts are very available. . Check the parts sources and you will see that. Find a good indy. Get a WIS, and an EPC and get to work. It will be worth it.
As some of you know we have 2 each 2001 Aeros, one wagon and one sedan, and a 2003 Aero sedan and a 2004 Aero wagon in our family. I maintain them for me and my wife and grown sons. Walter Wong at the RIGHT SOLUTION in West LA does the big jobs and the dirty jobs I don't want to do.
All are in daily use for commuting and pleasure.
None of us can think of another car we would rather have.
The later years may have less mileage but GM sure screwed up the interiors and the exterior styling.
Of course this is all just my personal opinion and experience and I have driven a Saab since I was 15 and my dad had a 93b.......I have always owned at least one Saab [usually more] since 1959......so maybe I am a nut case!!
I have no plans to EVER replace my 2001 Aero.
