Given that you have something working, I’d probably sit tight and wait until we get a few consecutive days of cooler morning weather and see what happens.
Keep in mind that when you set the temperature at anything other than LO or HI, the ACC is trying to cool or heat the car to the desired temperature, and not simply blow full on hot or cold air. That can result in the airflow not feeling very hot, if for example the car is already pretty warm or the sun is strong.
I'd suggest seeing how it does when we get a few 45 degree mornings and the car has been sitting outside.
My gut is telling me that your are getting better function than you may think you are, but the funny change of season temperatures are maybe masking it.
