thx again mlc,

- no codes
- air pocket in heater core makes sense - how do I get rid of it? I tried to push on the hoses while car is running.
- if bypass valve was stuck, would both hoses out of it be hot?
- ill check thermostat hose, but engine temp seems normal and hose to top of radiator is warm
- coolant level is fine and topped up
- ill check recirc flap- its up near gas pedal I guess it should be obvious? (i think i do hear a sound when hitting recirc button)
