I just took my 02 Aero sedan auto in today for the 30 day inspection and expansion valve replacement today. The loaner I was given is an 03 ARC auto with the manual paddle wheel shifter. The engine is nice and powerful in sport mode.
The paddle shifter is totally unnecessary, especially in sport mode - I'd never use it.
The car is simply not an Aero. Perhaps it's the seats, perhaps it's the suspension, perhaps it's the tires, perhaps it's the wood dash (is that real wood, by the way?), or some combination of the above. I don't think that there's a comparison.
