This V6 has strong torgue, coupled with the transmission and construction of the car, I believe 9-5 is one of the most comfortable cruisers availalbe. Comparing with other high performance V6 (250HP+), SAAB V6 is as good as anyone at low to mid range. It is a bit hard working at high RPM, but most V6 buyers didn't buy it for high RPM racing. Also note that this is a 1999 technology. Many are comparing it against 2002/2003 high performance model and it is showing its age. On the plus side your are buying a proven engine with good reliability record and adequate performance. With the incentive and the SAAB character, I am sure you will find it attractive.
