It's funny, but after spending quite a while on this board, it's clear to me that Saab has the products to compete. The 9-5 and 9-3 and very high quality automobiles offered at competitive prices. Given, that . . . the only thing missing is the marketing.
This article proclaims the new 9-3 a disappointment based on sales figures and consequent incentives. I seem to recall a major commitment to marketing as an intergral component to the success of this car. Specifically, GM and Saab boasted about how they had set aside hundreds of millions of dollars to support sales of the new 9-3. I have yet to see a single ad on TV or in print.
