I live in the Los Angeles area, and in Pasadena, Ca, the new Saab dealership is a Cadillac/Saab/Range Rover Dealership. Range Rover and Saab I can see, the income levels, demographics are extremely similar, and the Dealer told me that Saab has the edge on income and education over Ranger Rover buyers. But Cadillac? Saab owners cannot be more dissimilar. Cadillac has one of the oldest demographics around, and the delears reflect that. The sales staff is poorly trained, and doesn't understand the Saab buyer. They look like they should be pushing Chevy's out the door. I love my Saab, hate the dealer. This may be my last Saab, a 99 9-5, which is a shame as it probably saved my life. I fell asleep on a freeway, ran into a big semi truck. The front end crumpled the way it was designed to, and the air bags deployed. The new Saab/Cadillac dealer took over four months to repair my car. They did put me in a loaner around month two, but I still wanted my car. I despise the fact that I have to step over all those Cadillacs to get my car serviced. In Car Country So Cal, no self respecting person would ever buy an American car, truck yes, car no. GM is making a huge mistake with this Cadillac dealership idea. It clearly won't work in So Cal.
